Recording & Mixing Engineer
Kip Webster has carved a path for himself over more than 20 years of music and audio work. His skills have been showcased on records with David Longoria, Cece Peniston, Dallas Lovato, Tex Williams, Albert Lee, Grand Ole Opry Singers, Barbara Morrison Sunshine Stills, and many other Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country and Contemporary Christian artists. Kip has added his engineering work to numerous Live concert recordings and music specials including Baila! (David Longoria's PBS TV special), the upcoming PBS Special "50 Stars for America's 250 Birthday" from Washington DC and Arlington National Cemetery, and "We Are One: A Concert For Unity" from Times Square To The Seattle Center to air on PBS Stations in October 2026 - all with live recording album releases in early 2027.
Mixing in Stereo and Immersive
Kip has been mixing records and songs for movies for more than a decade. His work in both stereo and immersive have brought him to teach and speak on panels about evolving technologies and methods to bring the most out of the mixes.
Recording musicians and singers
At the core of every great record is the creativity and artistry of the performers and songwriters. Kip enjoys capturing the best performances and building the soundscape around those magical moments. He often records in the Seattle area as well as in Los Angeles and Nashville.
